The Moose Hide Campaign is an Indigenous-led grassroots movement that engages men and boys to end violence against women and children. Right now, in Canada, the unacceptable is still happening. Violence affects too many of our mothers, sisters, wives, daughters and friends. It is something completely preventable.
Join us on this day to pick up a Moose Hide pin and pledge to end violence. We will be serving light refreshments and live-streaming the Moose Hide Campaign Day ceremony that is taking place in British Columbia, which will feature speakers and elders. All are welcome.
Presented in partnership with the Mamidosewin Centre and Student Support Services Health and Wellness.
Agenda:
Reception with refreshments, 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
